American Football

Dr Adrian Rainbow has run a successful American Football club for Year 8 this half term, making it the 23rd sport that we offer. We are hopeful this can continue into next year.

Athletics

Sabrina Sinha (OS 2017) became U23 British 1500m champion over the weekend.

There were some excellent performances at the Tonbridge and Hurst meetings, with individual winners at every age group. The U15s we finished second and our U14s finished fifth against schools such as Tonbridge, St Paul’s, Dulwich, Hurst and St John’s.

Cricket

Our U15 cricket team are playing Tonbridge in the Kent Cup final on Tuesday at Wye CC. The U14 side play Tonbridge, also on Tuesday at Tonbridge. Our first XI play their Kent Cup semi-final.

Our teams won six out of eight fixtures versus King’s Canterbury, Hampton and Forest. Clean sweep versus Kings Canterbury, something of a rarity.

Fencing

Amelie Tsang finished seventh overall out of 42 fencers at Challenge Wratislava U15 foil competition. This is a fantastic achievement as it was her first competition since February 2020, while most of the other European fencers had been able to continue through lockdown.

Hockey

The U14 boys are into the semi final of the plate, while the U16 and U14 girls’ teams are through to the semi finals of the cup.

HC Knole Park featured a number of our pupils in England Hockey national cup matches over the weekend.

Sevenoaks HC U16 qualified for the semi finals of the cup.

In a quadrangular tournament versus Tonbridge, St Paul’s and Kings our U14S finished third, our U15s finished second and our seniors finished third.

Sailing

We hosted the Hoad Shield competition which was a great success. Our A team finished fourth overall and our B team finished fifth which was the top ranked B team.
