Transport links
An advantage of Sevenoaks is its transport links. The town is located not far from the A21 and M25, and is less than 30 minutes to Central London by train, with excellent rail links to London Charing Cross, Waterloo and London Bridge.
We run a school transport service that includes a Shuttle Bus service to and from Sevenoaks Station and a Home to School Bus network for surrounding towns and villages.
Home to school bus service
Our Home to School Bus service includes four routes and runs from Monday to Friday.
We currently run routes from Edenbridge, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Mereworth and Cranbrook. We hope to introduce a Dartford route in future if there is sufficient demand. The buses leave school at 18:00 after clubs and activities have finished.
The school partners with Vectare, a specialist school transport company, to provide the service.
Vectare are responsible for over two million independent school journeys every year across the country.
The service is an easy and efficient transport solution for students and supports our work on sustainability, with the hope of taking a substantial number of cars off the roads locally.
Station Shuttle Bus service
We run a minibus service to and from Sevenoaks Station which operates on school days with drop off only on Saturday mornings. Each morning round trips run from the station to school between 07:45 and 08:20. The afterschool shuttle bus service runs from the school to the station from 16:15 – 18:00. When not at an after-school club, students are encouraged to complete homework, do music practice or use the gym before going home. The bus leaves earlier before holidays and exeats.
The charge for the service for the academic year is £103 per term.
