Sevenoaks Enrichment Club

Sevenoaks School is launching a free enrichment club for bright and motivated Year 5 primary school pupils who live in the local area and who may not otherwise have access to comparable opportunities. The enrichment club will take place on nine Saturday mornings from September 2026 to May 2027. Applications are open to primary school students who will enter Year 5 in September 2026 and who live within a 45 minute commutable distance of Sevenoaks School.

• Places will be allocated using a combination of attendance, academic capability, engagement, and financial need to ensure fair and thoughtful selection.
• The pupil’s home address must be within a 45 minute commute of Sevenoaks School. There is a maximum annual household income limit (see application form for details).
• The pupils need to commit to attending at least seven of the nine sessions.
• Priority will be given to pupils who are eligible for Pupil Premium, reflecting the programme’s aim to widen access to enrichment opportunities.

The programme focuses on extension and enrichment; it does not offer 11+ tuition. It includes sessions that go beyond the Year 5 curriculum, such as Maths and Science extension lessons as well as broader enrichment opportunities e.g. debating and drama. 

There are 40 places available. We will ask you to upload a copy of your child’s most recent school report as part of the application. If the club is oversubscribed, places will be allocated based on school attendance, academic ability, engagement and financial need. 

Programme Structure

The programme will run across nine Saturday mornings from September 2026 to May 2027, with sessions running from 10:30am to 12:45pm. A lunch will be provided, free of charge. Pupils who complete the programme will be invited to a graduation ceremony at the end. There will be a launch event for participating families on the morning of Saturday 6 June 2026.

Session DATES

The graduation ceremony will be on 12 June 2027.
