Our trips programme is one of the most extensive in the country, with over 200 day and residential study trips, exchanges and tours provided each year.

The number and variety of opportunities we offer is a real strength of a Sevenoaks education, and our lively schedule of academic and co-curricular visits reflects our global outlook. We provide a range of study and field trips across the academic curriculum, which strengthen classroom-based learning.

These include a Middle School History trip to the First World War battlefields, Classics visits to Pompeii and Rome, Geography field trips to Morocco and Iceland, literary and art study weeks in Europe, and a Biology field trip to places like Madagascar.

There are numerous modern languages exchanges and study trips for pupils of all ages to France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Russia and occasionally further afield. In addition, there are many co-curricular opportunities. Sport, Drama and Music tours offer students the chance to stretch themselves, gain an insight into other cultures and learn new skills and compete at an international level.

Outdoor pursuits and challenges are provided by the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme and Combined Cadet Force trips, while MUN and debating conferences help pupils develop their confidence, presentation skills and political awareness, and our Service programme includes PROMO visits to India and Cambodia to work with our chosen charities.

An adventurous Lower School residential trip, Year 8 German Christmas market visit and skiing trips provide more fun, relaxed openings to improve language skills and learn about other cultures.

My son absolutely loved every minute his trip to Morocco and has shared so many stories with us.It sounds as though they learnt so much and had a lot of fun in the process. The perfect combination!
