Forty of our Year 9 students recently returned from a three-day Classics trip in Bath and the surrounding area. They were studying Roman life in Britain, and visited sites including Caerleon amphitheatre and Roman military fort, Chedworth Roman villa, the Corinium museum in Cirencester and the Roman Baths in Bath.
It was a great opportunity to put Latin studies in context and to see first-hand some of the places featured in the stories they are studying – and the pizza was excellent too!
