Special congrats to Ruby Thomas and Niamh Harmer who finished second and fifth out of 18 competitors respectively, and to Ruben Tandy and Ryan Friis who finished fourth and eighth out of 50 competitors respectively.

Amelie Tsang won a team bronze medal representing Great Britain at the Cadet (U17) European Championships in Novi Sad, Serbia. They beat Hungary 45-19 in the fight off for third place. Earlier in the semi-finals they lost by the narrowest of margins 44-45 to the favourites and eventual winners, Italy. In the individual competition Amelie finished 11th.

Hockey

Congratulations to our 1st XI who finish as runners up at the U18 Tier 2 National Final after a tough match versus RGS Newcastle. The team showed incredible resilience, grit, and the determination to never give up. They should all be very proud of themselves. Photos

We were honoured to be invited to play on Oxford vs Cambridge Hockey Varsity Day in the Captain’s school match vs Pate’s Grammar School thanks to Oxford University Women’s Blues Captain Orissa Welch (OS 2018) and Vice-Captain Grace Annetts (OS 2018) with Lara Gueorguieva (OS 2018) representing Cambridge.

Netball

It was a fantastic afternoon of netball at the annual Birley’s tournament. Both teams showed great sportsmanship throughout the tournament and worked together to produce some excellent netball. Well done to both the 1st and 2nd VII who won their respective competitions.

Well done to all the girls who represented the U13s at their county tournament, finishing as runners up. There was a great team effort from them all who have shown so much progress this year, going from strength to strength.

Rugby

Well done to our U15 Sevens side who were crowned Kent champions last week. A faultless performance from start to finish with a fantastic group of players.
