Basketball

Congratulations to our junior basketball teams!

  • The U13 (Junior NBA) side advanced to the South East conference final for the first time ever.
  • The U12 (Junior NBA) reached the South East conference semi-final.

Football

Congratulations to Ffion Thomas who played for West Kent winning the National Cup 5 – 4 on penalties. Ffion successfully converted the 4th penalty.

Congratulations to Bethan Thomas who has been offered an U16 contract by Charlton football club.

Fencing

Alex Greene competed at the British Youth Championships and came 7th in the boys’ under 14 sabre.

Golf

Sanjana Sharma played in the Southeast Triangular Series Matchplay Tournament and won. It was a series of match play tournaments between Kent, Sussex, and Hampshire. She won both her matches and overall, Kent won the series. Sanjana has also qualified for the British Youth Championship that will be held in May.

Motor racing

Old Sennockian Chloe Chong recently appeared on BBC Radio 1’s Newsbeat to talk about her experience with motor racing.

Sailing

Sevenoaks Sailors had a very successful day on Saturday 29 April, finishing 1st and 3rd the U17 Feva division of the Spring Trophy, hosted by Royal Hospital School. All eight sailors performed well and learnt from mistakes made along the way, remaining composed for the knockout matches at the end of the day.

Swimming

Eva Okaro has been selected to represent Great Britain U23s at the European Junior Championships in Belgrade this summer.

Tennis

At the Kent Doubles, Matt and Tommy won the Year 9/10 tournament and Vadim and Daniel were runners up in the Year 7/8 event.  Well done to all that took part!

Sevenoaks School is delighted to be working alongside Podium Analytics as we aim to lower the risk of sports-related injuries.

Podium Analytics is a charity that is committed to reducing injuries in sport. Podium will support Sevenoaks School to help us build a better understanding of injury risk and impact over time, and to find solutions that aim to reduce injury across all sport.  

We look forward to working with Podium Analytics on future projects and studies, as we aim to offer the best provision for our students.
