BASKETBALL
The U19 boys have finished top of the LISBA league. The team move forward to the play-offs, where they will be hoping to win the title for the fourth time in a row.
The U16 boys are LISBA champions, after beating Dulwich College in the semi-final, and City of London Freemen’s in the final.
At the London Schools Sports Association Basketball Championships:
- Girls U17 finished fourth
- Boys U17 won the tournament
- Boys U15 finished second
INDOOR CRICKET
The U13 girls won round one of the county round of the Lady Taverners Indoor Eights.
FOOTBALL
The girls’ 1st XI beat Ravenswood School to reach the Kent Cup semi-final.
HOCKEY
The U13A boys won the plate competition at the UKSA Tournament.
Moritz captained England U18s in a three-match series vs Ireland at Lilleshall.
NETBALL
At the Birley’s Senior Netball Tournament:
- 1st VII finished third.
- U16A finished runners-up in the group stage.
RUGBY 7S
At the Kent Schools Tournament the U15 boys won their group and reached the quarter-finals.
The U13 boys won four of their five matches at the Kent U13 Tournament.
The U18 girls won four of their five matches at the Kent U18 Tournament
The U16 boys finished second in the group at the Kent U16 Tournament.
At the London Oratory Sevens tournament, held at Ealing Trailfinders RFC, the U15 boys reached the quarter-finals.
SAILING
Two teams represented Sevenoaks School at the 2026 Schools British Keelboat League hosted by Royal Thames Yacht Club at Queen Mary Sailing Club. There were 22 teams representing 12 schools competing. Sevenoaks White finished fifth overall and Sevenoaks Red finished 17th overall.
SHOOTING
At the Kent Short Range Championship (top 20 listed):
- Sasha, 6th
- Simi, 14th
- Gabriel, 17th
SWIMMING
At the Bath and Otter Championships, held at the London Aquatic Centre:
- Boys reached both finals, finishing 10th in the medley relay and 9th in the freestyle relay.
- Girls finished 13th in the medley relay and 19th in the freestyle relay.
SQUASH
At the England Squash National Finals:
- Key Stage 3 girls are national champions.
- Key Stage 3 girls (Sevenoaks B team) finished 6th
- Key Stage 4 boys finished 5th (losing by one point to the runners up)
- Key Stage 4 girls finished 3rd
- Key Stage 5 girls finished 4th
Sevenoaks were runners-up in the Roehampton Tournament, beating Radley, Eton and Winchester to reach the final, before losing to national champions Epsom.
TENNIS
The senior boys beat King’s Canterbury in the regional quarter-finals.
The 1st team boys lost in a shoot-out to Barnet and Southgate College in the final of the regional senior students’ tournament.
Emily, Herbie and Tommy have been selected to play for Kent U18 in the LTA County Cup, which takes place at Bath University. Cyrus has also been selected to represent Oxfordshire U18 in the same event.
VOLLEYBALL
At the England Volleyball Club National Finals:
- The U16 boys narrowly lost their first game putting them into the 5-8 bracket. They lost their semi-final but won their 7/8 play-off against local rivals Dartford to claim 7th place on the day and leaving them the 13th ranked U16 team in the country.
- The U16 girls blitzed through their first game to advance to the 1-4 bracket. A frustrating semi-final loss followed, but the girls bounced back to win the bronze medal play-off against Bristol, leaving them third on the day and the eighth ranked U16 team in the country.
After the final round of the Volleyball England Junior Grand Prix, the U18 girls finished 23rd in the country and U18 boys 26th.
STAFF NEWS
Lewis Church has been selected to represent Great Britain in the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Poland.
