The 1st team beat Tonbridge School 7-2.
The U16 boys beat Langley Park in round 1 of the National Cup.
Basketball
The U18 boys beat the North School Basketball Academy 43-39.
The U18 boys beat Northfleet Technology College in the National League
The boys’ U16s beat Whitgift 61 – 55 in the LISBA league.
Cross country
The boys’ U13 finished fifth and the girls’ U13 sixth in the Thomas Trophy, held at Sevenoaks Prep.
Fencing
Alex competed at the British National Championships at the weekend and came eighth in the Under 20 sabre event.
Ethan won silver at the U17 Fighting Fit LPJS Foil Fencing Competition.
Football
The 1st XI boys beat King Edward’s Witley 5-3 in round 1 of the Independent Schools Football Association Cup.
The 1st XI boys beat Brighton College 4-1 in round 1 of the Independent Schools Football Association Trophy.
The U13 girls beat Ashford School in round 1 of the National 9-a-side cup.
The 1st XI girls beat Farrington’s School 5–0 in the ISFA Cup.
Hockey
The U16 girls won the Mel Clewlow Tournament, hosted by St Edmund’s School. This is a 1st XI tournament, with most schools in Kent entering. Sevenoaks U16s beat Eltham College 1st XI in the final.
The 1st XI beat St John’s Leatherhead 2-0 in the Tier 1 championships.
The U13A girls won the Bede’s U13 tournament.
The U12B team won the Hurst U12 B tournament, beating Hurst in extra time in the final.
U14B finished fourth in their group in the U14 Tier 2 County tournament, playing exclusively against other school A teams.
The U13 girls won the Sevenoaks U13 Tournament, from a 16-team entry.
The U14 girls beat St John’s 8 -1 in the National Cup.
The 1st XI girls beat Gordon’s 3 – 1 in the ISHC round 1.
The girls’ U14A beat Woldingham 11 – 0 in the National Cup.
Netball
Victoria has been selected for the Kent Netball U13 Player Development Programme.
The U15s beat King’s Rochester 42-11 in round 1 of the National Cup.
Sienna has been selected for London Pulse Kent PDP.
Phoebe has been selected for the Kent U15 Performance squad.
The 1st team have qualified through the preliminary round of the County Tournament, to play in the final eight. They won eight matches and lost 1 match by one point on the day.
Rugby
The U15A XV beat Shoreham Academy 47-14 in round 1 of the National Cup.
Saturday 20 September was our ‘Celebration of Rugby’ day, marking 100 years of Rugby at Sevenoaks. We hosted teams from Gravesend Grammar and Hurstpierpoint; a large crowd enjoyed the occasion.
The 15As beat Dartford Grammar School 33 – 12 in round 1 of the County Plate.
The 1st XV beat Hayes School 29 – 26.
Swimming
At the Kent Relay Championships:
- Junior girls won gold in the FC and Medley.
- Junior boys won gold in the FC and 5th in Medley
- Inter girls won bronze in the FC and Medley
- Inter boys won gold in the FC and Medley
- Senior girls were 5th in the FC and Medley
- Senior boys won gold in the FC and Medley
- Sevenoaks won 7/12 events medals in 9/13 events.
Tennis
- The U13 girls beat Bede’s in the regional knockout first round.
- The U15 girls beat Brighton College in the regional knockout first round.
Sevenoaks Series Tournaments
We hosted six U9 futsal teams last Friday and look forwards to the U11 Tournament this afternoon.

Old Sennockians
Helena Kiggell’s curling team are once again National Champions, and she will be going to her third World Junior Championships in Finland this December. She was also awarded a sports bursary by Glasgow University Sports Association, who support student athletes who compete at international level.
