Cross Country
At the Kent Championships, Eva finished first in the girls’ U13 race.
In the Knole Run, Sevenoaks teams achieved fantastic results, taking third place in the senior girls’ race and both U15 races, and finishing ninth in the senior boys’ race.
At the Kent Schools Championships (top 20 finishers):
Senior boys – Ben 11th (Kent selection)

Football
In the ISFA Smith Construction Cup (national cup), the 1st XI girls beat Alleyn’s 2-1 in the quarter-finals. This is entered by the very best independent schools for girls’ football across the country – so a very impressive achievement.
The 1st XI girls are also competing for the ISFA Trophy (second-best tournament), and beat St John’s Leatherhead in the last 16. They go on to play Royal Russell in the quarter-finals.
Hockey
Caroline represented the UK Lions in Spain.

Sailing
Sevenoaks White and Sevenoaks Red sailing teams competed at the Top Gun team racing regatta at Rutland Sailing Club, with Sevenoaks White placing third.
Shooting
Four students have been selected to represent the Home Counties Clay Target Club, to shoot against the New Zealand teams.

Squash
Congratulations to the following students for their success in Kent county games;
U13 girls: Sophia, Alex and Ava . They won the regionals and go through to the national finals.
U15 girls: Anika – also won the regionals and goes through to the nationals.
U15B boys: Adrain and Reben
U15A boys: Ethan – won the regionals and goes through to the nationals.
U17B girls: Tasia and Sofia
Ciara and Jacques play for Surrey and have qualified for the nationals.
The U14B girls Key Stage 3 finished second in the regionals and join the U14A girls in the national finals, competing among the top eight schools in the country.
The KS4 boys have qualified for the national finals after winning against KCS Wimbledon and Harrow.
Swimming
At the Kent Schools Championships, the boys were overall winners and the girls overall second.

Volleyball
The U16 girls are ranked sixth in the current Volleyball England rankings, after two national Grand Prix events.
Old Sennockians
Oscar Brown (OS 2020) got his first ATP point. He made the last 16 of the ATP M15 Monastir in Tunisia.
Paul Downton (OS 1975) will be president of Kent Cricket for 2027. Kent Cricket’s president for 2025, Sir Tim Laurence (OS 1972), said: ‘I’m thrilled that my former team-mate from the Sevenoaks School XI will be taking on the role of president for 2027 and I hope he enjoys it as much as I have done.’
Ben Dawkins (OS 2023) is part of England’s 15-player squad for the 2026 ICC Men’s U19s World Cup, which is currently taking place in Zimbabwe.
