Athletics

At the IAPS national Championships:

  • Helena earned bronze in the 300m.
  • Navaah broke the 100m school record again, going under 13 seconds.
  • Girls’ team earned silver in the 4 x 100m

Cricket

The U13 girls are National T20 Champions. They beat Guildford High in the quarter finals, St Swithun’s in the semi-finals and Stamford in the final.

The 1st boys lost to Simon Langton and then beat King’s Canterbury in a quadrangular T20 Tournament.

The 1st boys lost narrowly to the MCC. The MCC posted 240 and the 1st XI finished 210 all out. Harry and his father captained each of the teams.

The girls U15 team lost in the quarter final the National Cup to Kingston Grammar.

Playing for Kent, Chloe scored 145no v Hants, 110no v Lords and 114no v Hants averaging 190.

Ruby scored 98no for Sevenoaks Vine 1st XI v T Wells to win the league.

Golf

Sanjana played in the U18 English Girls Championships, the World Championships held in Ireland (finishing sixth place) and has qualified for the World Amateur Junior Golf Championship held in the UAE later this year.

Hockey

Well done to all those involved in a hugely successful hockey tour to South Africa over the summer. The large touring party performed hugely well on the pitch and enjoyed a range of activities off the pitch, offering them a fantastic experience and the ideal preparation for the season ahead.

Caroline and Chloe have been selected to represent the UK Lions.

Moritz represented England U18s in the European Cup in Lille, France.

Sailing

Itchenor National Schools FEVA Championships.

  • Second school overall, one point away from winning the national title
  • Top all girls boat, finishing seventh out of 92 boats

The Sailing team took part in the RS Feva World Championships, held at Nautique Voile d’Aix les Bains over the summer.

Izzy finished fourth in UK National Championships.

Squash

Ciara is ranked in the top 10 in Europe U17.

Ethan and Dehong finished second and third in the U17 and U19 draw of the Beijing Open, during their squash tour of China.

Sophia and Alex have been selected for the Kent U13 squad.

Swimming

Charles finished 18th in the 200 Fly at the National in Sheffield.

Tennis

At the Independent Schools Tennis Association Championships:

  • Camille and May – last 32 of U19 girls.
  • Tasia and Emily – quarter finals of U15 girls
  • Daniel and Vadim – last 64 of the U15 boys
  • Daniel and Julien – last 64 of the U15 boys
  • Ivan and Leo – second in the group in the U13 boys’ plate
  • Will and Ben – fourth in their group in the U13 boys
  • Nastia and Valeria – quarter finals in the U13 girls
  • Victoria and Sophia – fourth in their group in the U13 girls

Old Sennockians

Having signed a professional contract with Kent, Ben Dawkins played for England U19s v India, scoring 136 in one of the matches.

Eva Okaro competed in the World Aquatics Championships in Singapore. She finished 21st out of 82 in the 100m Freestyle heats, 11th in the 50m Freestyle semi-finals and 12th in the mixed 4x100m.
