 Shooting

Ten Sevenoaks shooters took part in the England Schools’ rifle championships, where over 160 competitors represented sixteen schools from across the country.

Congratulations to Yaroslav Bobko and Rafe Wormsley who placed second in the senior pairs after an outstanding performance – they achieved matching scores of 193 out of a possible maximum of 200.

Congratulations also go to Conrad Scheibye and Sasha Woodruff, whose impressive matching scores of 190 placed them a very close fourth in the junior pairs – Sasha’s performance was particularly notable as she bravely maintained a consistently high level of performance throughout her shoot despite experiencing a rifle malfunction part way through her match.

In the individual rankings three of our students finished in the top 30: Yaroslav Bobko in eighth, Rafe Wormsley in tenth, and Sasha Woodruff in 22nd.
