At the Southern Schools Climbing Competition our teams finished first in both the team boulder and team top-rope and boulder competitions.

In individual top-rope, Joseph Charkin finished first and Ruben Tandy finished joint third. Joseph also finished fourth in the individual boulder.

The U15 girls put in a great performance to narrowly lose to Dunottar School in the ISFA Cup.

The 1st team beat Ardingly 2-1 in the ISGA regional semifinal, they now play Sutton Valence in the regional final, with the winner moving forwards to the national finals in Bristol.

The 1st XI put in another fine performance to beat Framlingham School, Suffolk 3-1 in the Tier 1 Championship.

Well done to the U16 indoor team who won the Kent County Tournament.

The 1st XV continue their fine form this season, beating King’s Canterbury away from home for the first time in many years.

The U15A XV beat TWGS 31-29 in the National Bowl Round 3.

Ten Sevenoaks shooters took part in the England Schools’ rifle championships, where over 160 competitors represented sixteen schools from across the country.

Congratulations to Yaroslav Bobko and Rafe Wormsley who placed second in the senior pairs after an outstanding performance – they achieved matching scores of 193 out of a possible maximum of 200.

Congratulations also go to Conrad Scheibye and Sasha Woodruff, whose impressive matching scores of 190 placed them a very close fourth in the junior pairs – Sasha’s performance was particularly notable as she bravely maintained a consistently high level of performance throughout her shoot despite experiencing a rifle malfunction part way through her match.

In the individual rankings three of our students finished in the top 30: Yaroslav Bobko in eighth, Rafe Wormsley in tenth, and Sasha Woodruff in 22nd.
