We are delighted to announce that Sevenoaks School has passed the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) Regulatory Compliance Inspection, and there were no recommendations or further action required.

Over recent years, the ISI has had a focus on pastoral care and how students are supported in schools.  Here at Sevenoaks, inspectors noted our deeply rooted commitment to supporting and protecting our students.  Many examples of best practice were demonstrated to inspectors, including our recent Wellbeing Award for Schools and our role as one of the research schools working with the Harvard Human Flourishing Programme.

A Regulatory Compliance Inspection assesses eight different areas: the quality of education provided; welfare, health and safety of pupils; suitability of staff, supply staff and proprietors; premises of and accommodation at schools; provision of information; manner in which complaints are handled; quality of leadership and management of schools.

The ISI inspects schools every three years in areas of Regulatory Compliance, and these inspections are pass/fail.

Thank you to all students, parents and staff who contributed to the surveys that are part of this inspection; your feedback was a valuable part of the process.
