Year 7 students enjoyed a walk through Knole Park accompanied by their tutors. The Knole Stroll offered our pupils the opportunity to spend relaxed, unstructured time outdoors with their peers, while also encouraging them to make the most of the beautiful historic parkland next door to the school. Sevenoaks is unusual in offering access to a 1000‑acre deer park, open most of the year, with 350 deer and a diverse collection of trees, including England’s tallest oak.
The group was in excellent spirits throughout the morning and were fortunate to avoid the forecast rain. Energised by a cookie before setting off, they embraced the experience and made the most of the woods, valleys, trees, deer and above all, time spent together in the fresh air.
