Sevenoaks School is again celebrating outstanding GCSE and IGCSE results.
- 86 per cent of all examinations were graded 9/8/7 or A*/A, in line with 2019 pre-pandemic results.
- 43 per cent of all examinations were graded 9.
- 85 students gained 10 or more 9/8/7 or A*/A grades, and of those, 13 scored a superb 10 or more top grades of 9 (or A*).
The Headmaster, Mr Jesse Elzinga, said: ‘We are so proud of all our Year 11 students, and we congratulate them on their results. This impressive achievement at (I)GCSE, combined with excellent work in our Middle School Diploma, make these students well prepared to start the IB Diploma Programme, which is the gold standard of Sixth Form education.
‘Our returning Year 11 students will help us to welcome new students from around the world next week, forming a 248-strong cohort in the Lower Sixth. We wish them all every success in the exciting next stage of their education.’
