We were delighted to welcome over 80 parents, Old Sennockians and friends to our annual Careers Fair last Thursday in the Science and Technology Centre. Our Year 11 and 12 students were spoilt for choice with the array of industry and career expertise on offer from so many professionals who kindly shared their advice to inspire the next generation.
This year’s fair saw a wide range of industries represented, including accountancy, architecture, aviation, asset management, biopharma, biotech, banking, charities, civil engineering, communications, education, energy, film, finance, fintech, government, heritage, insurance, investment banking, IT, law, medicine, media, marketing, property, publishing, public health, retail, science, technology, venture capital and veterinary medicine.
Students thoroughly enjoyed working the floors, developing their networking skills, meeting professionals from a wide range of sectors and gaining valuable insight towards decisions they might make in the near future, as well as how to approach potential work experience avenues. We hope all our professionals also enjoyed the evening. One stated they enjoyed it so much they weren’t sure who got more out of the event!
