Being a part of The Cover Up, a completely student-led and written play has been an utterly incredible experience. The comedic murder mystery was written by two girls in Year 11, Isla and Sasha and centres around an ancient Greek class in which one of the students is murdered and the others have to work out the culprit.
Rehearsals started May last year, running weekly, led by our incredibly devoted and organised director Merryn. The cast worked tirelessly, taking time out of their already busy schedules to learn lines and effortlessly embody their characters completely, whether playing a small or big part.
The final performance of The Cover Up was a great way to show the culmination of the entire group’s efforts, and proved what students of Sevenoaks School can really do when they put their minds to it.
