BAFTA Young Presenter
Congratulations to Tristan Thompson (Year 9) on becoming a finalist in the BAFTA Young Presenter competition. Last week Tristan went to BAFTA HQ in London for final auditions. We wish him good luck.
OxBright Essay Competition
Well done to Eliza Ang and Nastya Vidjajeva (Lower Sixth) who were recognised in the OxBright Essay competition. Eliza was the category winner for Computer Science and Coding, while Nastya was Highly Commended (top 20 per cent) in the Philosophy category.
Anthea Bell Young Translators
Congratulations to Matthew Wilkes (Lower Sixth) and Maddy Lawley (Year 9) for receiving a commendation for their participation in The Anthea Bell competition for young translators. Matthew participated in Mandarin and Maddy in German.
Art Exhibition
Well done to Eloise Halban-Taylor (Year 9) whose stunning artwork was selected for an exhibition in South-East London. She was the youngest exhibiting and among established and full-time artists from across the country, with the work exploring perspectives on health and illness.
National Youth Theatre
Congratulations to Ed Brown (Year 11) who has been selected to join the National Youth Theatre.
