The rain stopped just in time for the starting gun at the Knole Run on Saturday. We welcomed 168 runners from 25 different schools to Sevenoaks for the 48th Senior Knole Run, which we have been hosting since 1973.

Sevenoaks School came third in both the boys’ and the girls’ team races, with some excellent individual performances and a fantastic team effort.

In the boys’ race, the Sevenoaks A team were third and the B team tenth, with Dan Hadden 14th (00:36:08), Max Malkinson 16th (00:36:15) and Johnny Dunlop 21st (00:36:57) and Tom Phillips 26th (00:37:54) and Jake Brislane 27th (00:37:54). Full results for all runners are available here.

The team winners were The Judd School, with Johnny James of Abingdon School in first place.

In the girls’ race Sevenoaks A were third and Sevenoaks B sixth, with Anne-Sophie Bremans 10th (00:21:08), Charlotte Bloodworth 17th (00:22:34), Eliza Muysken 18th (00:22:39), Celia Foster 19th (00:22:53) and Juliette Mauduit 24th (00:23:26). Full results for all runners are available here

These are very encouraging results, especially as our runners included several younger students from Years 9 and 10: Charlotte, Eliza and Celia (mentioned above), Ben Catchpole and Georgina Hadden.

The team race was won by The Coopers’ Company and Coborn School, with Eliza Nicholson (Mander Portman Woodward, London) in first place.

Sevenoaks School would like to thank Lord Sackville and the Knole Estate for their permission to hold this event in Knole Park.
