Sevenoaks has raised almost £6000 for Education For All to support those affected by the devastating earthquake in Morocco.
We have been proud to work with the charity Education for All for several years, and this project raises money for the emergency repairs of the six of the charity’s houses and replacement of their contents. Funds also provide emergency support such as food, medicine, water and communications support for the girls and their families and local communities.
Students, parents, staff and Old Sennockians entered our fundraising challenge to run, walk or cycle a distance of their choice to cover the 3080km from Sevenoaks to Imlil, Morocco. We managed to complete the final leg of the journey with over 200 students taking part in the group run on Duke’s Meadow on Friday.
