The inaugural award was presented at the AGBIS Annual Conference on Monday 20 March in London, with Sevenoaks nominated alongside 24 leading independent schools.
AGBIS supports and advises governing bodies of schools in the independent sector on all aspects of governance, under the umbrella of the Independent Schools Council.
Mrs Alison Beckett, Chair of Governors at Sevenoaks, said ‘We are delighted to be recognised as the AGBIS School of the Year 2023.
