Passport and Visa requirements
All students studying at Sevenoaks School are required to provide documentation to prove their nationality. If your child does not have British or Irish Nationality or an immigration status that allows them to study in the UK, they may need a Child Student visa to attend Sevenoaks School. We welcome international students and Sevenoaks School is a visa sponsor. Our Visa Coordinator, Hannah Gwyther, will guide you through the visa application process and provide you with support. There is a visa administration charge of £450, payable to Sevenoaks School, which will be added to your bill.
We take our duties as sponsors for educational visas very seriously. Recent changes to the expectations of sponsors by UKVI (UK Visa and Immigration) require us to be aware of the immigration status of every one of our students, whether day or boarding and regardless of nationality. Please read our Visa policy below for more information.
You may be required to upload a copy of your child's passport information page, and visa/biometric information if relevant. This enables us to comply fully with our responsibilities as a visa sponsor. The information you provide will be stored and processed confidentially and securely and the school will process personal data about you and your child in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the School's Data Protection Notice which is available here.
