Athletics

Congratulations to Harriet Medlen who broke 13 seconds for the first time for the 100m on Sunday, clocking 12.94 at Dagenham. It currently places her sixth in the UK for U15s. What an exciting start to the season!

Cricket

Well done to our teams who won three and tied one out of six games versus Sutton Valence. The 1st XI tied after it went down to the very last ball during a very exciting finish.

Well done in particular to these students:

Ollie Rajah 3-14 on 1st XI debut & Ollie Chaplin 55 not out to beat Tonbridge U16A

Nick Chaplin 114 v Sutton Valence 1st XI

Ben Dawkins 87* v Sutton Valence U14A

Edward Fussell hat-trick v Sutton Valence U14B

Sevenoaks Sports Magazine writer and Sevenoaks School teacher Sarah Eversfield has released a fantastic article about our Head of Cricket Dave Smith. Read

Cross Country

Congratulations to John Witton who got a PB at the Dorney Lake marathon over Easter with a time of 2hrs 40min. Paul Freeman-Jones also took part in his first marathon and got under 3 hrs, an incredible achievement!

Karting

Sevenoaks student Chloe Chong featured on the Female Drive podcast. Chloe is the only female karting racer in her category and talks about her plans for a career in motorsport. Listen

Tennis

The Kent U12 boys won their regional county cup beating Middlesex in the final. Four out of six team members were Sevenoaks boys and Dom (Sevenoaks Coach) was the Team Captain.  Congratulations to Nate de Mariveles, Tommy Cuomo, Herbie Smith and Matthew McClain.

Sport

Great to see lots of happy Year 13s partaking in sport on Saturday morning. A total of 112 attending the morning session while others took part in sport during afternoon games. Lots of different sports took place, with music playing in the background. A great atmosphere and lovely to see them have fun after a tough year all round.
