Well done to our inter girls’ team who have qualified for the regional round of the English Schools’ Athletics competition.
Hockey
Cath Nicholson has been appointed by England Hockey as one of eight Talent Scouts to scout for rising talent.
Mrs Charlotte Smith, Summer Knight-Thompson (Y10), Ines Gascoyne-Day (Y9) and Celia Foster (Y9) won 5-0 in the Tier 4 National Final playing for HC Knole Park Women’s 2nd XI.
Celia Foster also represented Kent Hockey over the weekend.
Rugby
Charlie Peters (L6) has been invited to trial for the Harlequin’s Centre of Excellence as part of their women’s pathway.
Hamish McQueen and Joel Walter (both Y10) represented Kent U15s at the weekend.
Swimming
At The World School Games Swim Championships at the Olympic Pool, Sevenoaks won the U13 team cup. Huge congrats to Tom Ellershaw (Y7) who won overall points by a single U13 swimmer. Medals were as follows:
- Gold – Maddie Evans (Y8) 100m FR, 100m FLY, 50m FLY, 50m FR; Girls 4x50m FR
- Silver – Tom Ellershaw 100 BR; Mixed 4×50 FC
- Bronze – Tom Ellershaw 200 BR, 100 BK, 50m BR; Charlotte Bloodworth 100m BK; Boys 4 x 100 Medley; Girls 4 x 50m Medley; Girls 4×100 Medley Relay
