Fencing

Congratulations to Alex Greene who has been selected to represent GBR. He is ranked 14th in the U17 sabre and is the highest ranked Fencer in his age group.

Football

Salar Fouladi has been scouted to take part at the Portimao International Cup in Portugal in November, where he will be playing against several international academies.

Golf

Well done to Maggie Hunter who won the Kent Milstede Trophy in September at the Sittingbourne & Milton Regis Golf Club.

Sailing

At the BSDRA Midland Team racing championship Regatta at Oxford Sailing Club, Sevenoaks Red finished 2nd overall, Sevenoaks White narrowly missed out on the knockout stages winning 5 out of 8 races in the round-robin.

Sevenoaks Red: Mac Raymond (Captain), Josh Beverly, Yiannis Scotiniadis, Odette Mead, Rosie Heydorn, Allegra Fleming.

Sevenoaks White: Kaz Burt, Jasper Nelson, Arabella Parker, Romina Lecher, Izzy Johnson, Jamie Middleburgh.

At the RYA ET Team racing Nationals championship regatta at Oxford Sailing Club in October. This is the largest team racing regatta in the world with 75 teams competing from clubs, classes and schools.

Sevenoaks Black (U15) – (Oliver Chambers, Henry Wilkinson, Susanna Local, Chloe Walmsley) 10th out 23 teams in the U15 division.

Sevenoaks White (U17) – (Izzy Johnson, Grace Davies, Jamie Middleburgh, Josh Beverly) placed second overall.

Sevenoaks Blue (U17) – (Kaz Burt, Jasper Nelson, Arabella Parker, Romina Lecher) Placed sixth overall.

Sevenoaks Red (U19) – (Mac Raymond (Captain), Amelie Smith, Yiannis Scotiniadis, Odette Mead, Rosie Heydorn, Allegra Fleming) placed seventh overall and were the winners of silver fleet.

We are pleased to report that after completing her assessment process, Izzy has been selected for the RYA’s talent search Crewing 4 Gold programme. This is a national initiative to discover and develop female athletes between the ages of 14 and 25 who are capable of becoming Olympic medal winning 49er FX crews.

Squash

Well done to Ciara Boulanger who played in her first major European Tournament in Malmo, Sweden. She played two preliminary matches before entering the main draw and battled through to the final, beating several players ranked above her in Europe. Over half term Ciara trained with the French national team and has been asked to play European Super Series tournaments where she will be playing the best juniors in Europe.

Congratulations to Ethan Hu for finishing runner up in the Kent Closed U13 Tournament.

Tennis

Well done to Amani Gikunda who was runner up in the U14 Confederation of African Tennis Tournament and is now ranked fourth in Kenya.
