Congratulations to the school Catering team on reaching the finals of the Spirit of Sodexo Awards for Outstanding Service in Excellence (Team of the Year). This recognition reflects the hard work, dedication and passion the team brings to serving our school community every single day.
The Spirit of Sodexo Awards are an annual UK and Ireland recognition programme celebrating Sodexo employees who embody the company’s core values and highlighting outstanding performance.
The Sevenoaks team won the category for independent schools, then the sector-level competition with schools and universities. Their success sees them heading to the national finals in Manchester this May.
Huge congratulations also to Head Chef Damien Batchelor, who is a finalist for Employee of the Year. Damien plays a pivotal role behind the scenes, driving operational excellence, continuously raising standards across the catering provision and responding to student feedback. His commitment and creativity help ensure that the Catering team creates nutritious food that the students enjoy including this week’s Protein Pit Stop which highlighted all the excellent protein options available to students.
