This July, Sevenoaks School was delighted to welcome 325 students from 45 countries to our 2026 Summer Programme. Over the course of the programme, students immersed themselves in academic study, co-curricular activities, cultural experiences and new friendships, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Through the introduction of our updated academic curriculum, designed and delivered exclusively by Sevenoaks School teachers, students developed essential skills in critical thinking, communication, creativity, collaboration and leadership while exploring a range of stimulating topics and real-world challenges. The programme encouraged students to think independently, work effectively as part of a team and gain confidence in expressing and developing their ideas.

Alongside the core programme, students on our English Language and Music pathways enjoyed their new curriculum for 2026. The Music course also included a performance concert for all the students and it was wonderful to see all their hard work come together and be celebrated by their peers.

Outside the classroom, students chose from 22 different co-curricular activities, making full use of Sevenoaks School’s exceptional facilities. This was a great opportunity for our students to embrace new challenges and work on improving their skillsets.

The programme also featured a varied schedule of excursions, giving students the opportunity to experience some of the UK’s most iconic destinations and landmarks. This included trips to Thorpe Park, Bluewater, Oxford and London.

Evenings were equally full of energy and community spirit, with a wide range of activities on offer throughout the programme. Popular events included the Disco, Casino Night, Talent Show and Open Mic Night. We also enjoyed our new Colour Run, which brought everyone together for a fun-filled afternoon of laughter, friendly competition and vibrant displays, creating lasting memories and adding an exciting new highlight to the programme’s activities.

We would like to give a special thanks to our dedicated teaching staff, whose expertise, enthusiasm and care created an inspiring learning environment for every student. We are also incredibly grateful to our student hosts, who played a vital role in welcoming students to Sevenoaks and helping them feel part of our community from day one.

A huge thank you goes to our Old Sennockian Activity Leaders, including many returners from previous programmes. Their energy, leadership and commitment helped create a welcoming and memorable experience for this year’s cohort. It was incredible to see their hard work caring for the students on trips, creating and running evening activities and being a friendly face around the campus.

It has been wonderful to see so many new friendships formed across cultures and continents, and to witness students grow in confidence throughout their time at Sevenoaks. We thank everyone who contributed to another successful Summer Programme and look forward to Summer Programmes 2027!
