HMS Pinafore
Kentish Opera presents a concert performance of Gilbert and Sullivan’s HMS Pinafore, a story in which Captain’s daughter Josephine becomes torn between her love of a lowly sailor and the pompous Lord her father wishes her to marry.
HMS Pinafore is a classic comedy opera featuring light-hearted satire that pokes fun at the rigid British class system, party politics, the Royal Navy, and blind patriotism.
Directed by Stephen Anthony Brown, this concert showcases Kentish Opera’s signature flair, bringing together a chamber orchestra, costumed professional soloists, and a magnificent chorus.
Musical Director: Robyn Sevastos.
