New House at Sevenoaks School has been shortlisted in the Boarding Schools’ Association Supporting Excellence Awards 2025.
The house has been selected for the Boarding House Extension or Refurbishment category, which acknowledges the work of schools to provide pupils with an exceptional place to live, study and play. Focus is given to the design, sustainability and innovation of boarding houses and boarding facilities.
New House is our newest, sustainable, state-of-the-art boarding house. It accommodates 60 girls and offers comfortable, contemporary living, amid the rich heritage of our 600-year-old school. This creates an environment where students feel rooted in history and supported by modern amenities.
The Boarding Schools’ Association Supporting Excellence Awards are now in their eighth year and acknowledge the remarkable achievements, dedication and hard work of schools and individuals within the boarding sector.
Winners will be announced at this year’s BSA Annual Conference for Heads, at York Racecourse on the evening of Tuesday 6 May.
