Twenty-one of our IB artists visited New York City at the very end of the Michaelmas term. Staying in a hostel on the edge of Central Park, they embarked on a race around the major galleries, taking in MOMA, the Met and the Guggenheim, amongst others. Furiously drawing in their ever-present sketchbooks, they found time to see the Statue of Liberty, take in the view from the top of the Rockefeller Centre, and even see a production of Chicago on Broadway.
