Nikita Ivaniuta and Ilya Melamed have successfully raised over £12,000 for Ukraine Charity following their exhibition on Wednesday 30 November.
The pair of Lower Sixth students decided to organise the art exhibition for with the aim of increasing awareness and raising money to support children affected by the war in Ukraine.
The evening was very well attended with an opening speech given via Zoom by Dmitry Muratov, the Nobel Peace Prize winner of 2021. Nikita’s emotive artworks were displayed around The Space and reflect on the experiences of the war.
We would like to say a huge thank you to all those that have supported the exhibition and donated to the fundraiser.
