Athletics

Lewis Church (coach) won the National Heptathlon Championships at the BMC Indoor GP in Sheffield with 5482 points.

Fencing

  • The following Sevenoaks fencers have been selected to represent Great Britain:
  • Piero Steiner (U6) – Junior (U20) World Cups for epee in Udine, Italy and Belgrade, Serbia.
  • Woser Prossor (L6) – Junior (U20) World Cup for foil in Aix-en-Provence, France.
  • Maddie Gale (U6) – Junior (U20) World Cups for foil in Jena, Germany and Zagreb, Croatia.
  • Amelie Tsang (Y11) – Junior (U20) World Cups for foil at Jena and Zagreb; and at Cadet (U17) level for foil in Rome, Italy and Poznan, Poland.

Hockey

Betrys Galloni, Annabel Cheveley, and Alice Reeve competed for Knole Park HC Women’s first team winning the England Hockey ‘super sixes’ indoor Division 2 South. This now means they qualify for the National Division 2 at the end of January.

Sailing

Martin Atilla (L6), finished 11th out of 400 sailors in the Youth World Sailing Championships, held in Oman, which will hopefully place him well to compete for a place at the next Olympics representing Latvia.
