Tennis

Sevenoaks has a fantastic reputation for tennis. Our superb facilities and dynamic coaching team ensures tennis can be played all year round.

Our three indoor tennis courts allow over 180 pupils to benefit from group coaching and fitness sessions held during each lunch break and after school. Courts are also available at other times during the day for training and individual coaching sessions. We are able to offer programmes tailored to individual needs but designed to maximise potential and deliver high performance training for our highly ranked players.

Our facilities include three indoor courts (acrylic/phlexipave), seven outdoor hard courts and 21 astroturf courts.

In recent years Sevenoaks has had many successes in senior and junior national leagues, county leagues and school competitions. In the summer, the girls also play regular Saturday fixtures against schools such as Benenden, Eastbourne, Cranleigh, New Hall and King’s Canterbury. In addition we enter the Harpenden LTC National School Girls Doubles Tournament annually.

The boys play regular fixtures against New Hall, King’s Canterbury and Tonbridge, and take part in the Independent Schools League where they meet teams such as Eton, Charterhouse, Reed’s and Hampton.

The boys and the girls compete in the Independent Schools' Tennis Association tournament at Eton College each year.

Outstanding success in tennis.
