A group of Upper Sixth students, Gemma, Ruby, Emilia, Maxime, Alessandro and Francesca, participated in the prestigious National XIII Hispanic Theatre Festival, hosted by North London Collegiate School last week.
They competed against other leading independent schools, including Tonbridge, Eton, St Paul’s Girls’, and Haberdashers’, among others. The panel of judges included Dr Beatriz Vallejo, a representative of the Embassy of Spain; Dr Isaias Fanlo, Assistant Professor at the University of Cambridge; and Mr Juan Carlos Jaramillo, former BBC Radio producer.
Their exceptional talent and dedication were recognised with two of the most outstanding awards of the competition: Best Actor, awarded to Alessandro, and Best Group Performance, presented to the entire team.
We are immensely proud of their creativity, perseverance and teamwork which shone through during months of preparation, rehearsals and performances.
