This week we have been delighted to welcome a dozen guests from a range of top US and international universities. As our students prepare to make their university applications for 2017 entry, they have benefited directly from the expertise and insights of our esteemed visitors who represent some of the best Higher Education institutions globally.

Over 60 students and parents attended our event on Monday hosted by Selina Harvey, Head of US and International Admissions. Our guests gave outstanding presentations outlining the distinctive features of their universities, and the courses and educational opportunities available. We welcomed Kate Timlin (Georgetown), Aaron Zdawczyk (Northwestern), John Gaines (Vanderbilt), Chrissy Fulton (Princeton), David Buckwald (Columbia) and Anne Sjostrom (Duke).

On Tuesday we were delighted to welcome Yvonne Romero da Silva (UPenn) and Keith Light (Yale), and on Wednesday Mike Fakih (The Parsons School of Design, New York/Paris) and Jasmine Seah (Yale NUS), and on Thursday Sara Alsayyed (Toronto) and Aaron Brown (University of Southern California).

These talks were all highly successful, very well attended and we look forward to hosting similar events next academic year.

This year 26 students have gone on to study at top US and international universities. Based on the recent Times HE word rankings, seventy seven Sevenoaks School students took up places at one of the top 20 universities in the world in 2016.
