Secondary partnerships
LAT Ambition
Programme
Sevenoaks School and Leigh Academies Trust (LAT) have launched a ground-breaking partnership. ‘Ambition’, a unique five-year programme is designed to significantly enhance the life chances and career aspirations of ambitious students across five LAT academies.
The Ambition Programme, which is fully funded by LAT academies, focuses on providing essential targeted support, including two annual residential experiences, 1:1 mentorship from Sevenoaks School alumni and university students and access to unique cultural and academic opportunities.
The first Ambition cohort was recruited in Summer 2025 and there are currently fifteen students on the programme, representing Sir Geoffrey Leigh Academy, Mascalls Academy, Strood Academy, Leigh Academy Minster and Hundred of Hoo Academy.
Each year, students will attend two meet-up days and a residential event, as well as have regular access to a university student mentor who can guide and inspire them. Through the programme, we will foster access to cultural capital, support students to develop a wide range of skills, and create a community of like-minded students.
