Congratulations to Henry Hollingworth, Vara Gunananthan, Faryal Khan and Freddie Goodfellow (all U6) for winning Woldingham’s inaugural STEM Solutions competition.
The team of Sevenoaks students recently attended Woldingham’s inaugural STEM Solutions event, pitting their STEM knowledge and ideas against five other top schools (Caterham, Whitgift, Warlingham, Old Palace of John Whitgift School for Girls and Woldingham).
After three challenging question rounds and a construction challenge, each team of four presented ideas to reduce their school’s environmental footprint with an investment of £100,000 to representatives from the University of Surrey and various industrial experts.
All teams presented some excellent ideas, with Sevenoaks being crowned the winner among some fierce competition. Well done to everyone that took part.
