Cross country
Our runners gave a very good account of themselves at the highly competitive King Henry VIII school relays. The boys equalled their 11th place from last year which is joint highest in last five years. This was particularly an impressive feat with a Year 9 and Year 10 on the team. The girls placed 17th including two Year 8 girls in the team.
Eight runners represented Kent in the SE inter-counties in Chelmsford. Notable performances came from Ed Lindsay who finished 44th (5th Kent), Alex Evans who finished 31st (3rd Kent), and SB Edo Leone 11th (3rd Kent).
Fencing
Amelie Tsang and Woser Prossor represented England U14 and U17 at the CEP Marathon Fleuret respectively. Amelie won bronze from a field of 149 fencers having lost her semi-final by the tightest of margins (9-10).
Squash
The senior girls competed in the second round of the national schools competition, the girls had great performances but just missed out on qualification for the finals.
Swimming
At the Weald and Downland swimming competition, our U18 and U16 boys won their competitions while the U14 boys, U18/U16/U14 girls finished second. Well done to all teams.
