Archery
The Sixth Form archery team (Pascal Knowles (C), Amber Holt, Millie Britain and Linh Nguyen) beat Uppingham School 1047–968 in their first ever fixture (virtual) on Tuesday 23 November. Given that Uppingham fielded a more experienced team and were shooting indoors, this is a superb achievement. Thanks to Jamie Russell for getting the sport up and running and driving it with such enthusiasm.
Curling
Helena Kiggell has been awarded a (monetary) scholarship from the World Association of Sport, to take part in their Athlete Certificate program. She was recommended by the ECA (English Curling Association) and has been training during the Summer and October half term up at The Flowerbowl in Preston, in preparation for the England playdowns in April 2022.
Hockey
Our U18 side competed in the indoor regionals finals on Sunday and finished sixth overall.
Netball
We had a fantastic day at the county tournament with all three teams showing resilience and teamwork to pull together in such tough conditions. Our U16s finished middle of their group, our U19s finished third narrowly missing out on a regional spot by one goal and our U14s were undefeated, securing themselves a spot at the regionals in January and becoming county champions in the process.
Rugby
Through perseverance, hard work and determination, our 1st XV finally got their first win of the season in emphatic style on Friday under the lights at Ealing Rugby Club, a Championship side. Many thanks to Wetherby School for providing us with a wonderful fixture and fantastic hospitality.
Swimming
Congratulations to the following students who have been selected to swim at the Winter Nationals Swimming Championships being held in Sheffield at the end of this week.

11+ Taster Morning
On Wednesday 24 November, we hosted an 11+ taster day for prospective students. 160 pupils from prep and primary schools in the South East took part in sports ranging from hockey, netball, rugby and football to fitness, squash, badminton, cricket, and tennis. The pupils brought amazing energy and enthusiasm. Thanks to all the PE staff and coaches who encouraged everyone and ran a great event.
