Cross country

We saw a great effort by all Sevenoaks runners at the regionals on Saturday. The junior girls and inter girls have both qualified for the nationals. The junior boys just missed out on a place after finishing fourth, and the inter boys finished fifth in a very strong race.

Phoebe Barker finished fifth at the British Athletics Cross Challenge in Milton Keynes.

Football

Last week we hosted an U13 football tournament for eight local primary schools, which was a great success. Congratulations to the winners, St Thomas’ Primary.

Hockey

The U14 side have qualified for the regional finals, with three wins and a loss. Fourteen goals for and four against capped a very successful day.

At the weekend Sevenoaks teams won nine and drew four out of 13 fixtures versus Eastbourne and Haileybury.

Swimming

Louis Hayes now ranks as number 1 in GB in his age group for 200m individual medley and 50m butterfly, where he also broke his own all-time Kent record. He is also ranked #4 for 100m butterfly, #8 for 100m freestyle and #10 for 50m breaststroke. Congratulations!

Tennis

The senior girls had an excellent start in the national senior students cup after two wins, which puts them through to the next round. The senior boys also won their first match.
