Sporting Highlights

Sevenoaks has had an impressive week for sport with some outstanding performances in athletics with students winning ten medals at the Kent Schools’ T&F Championships.

Athletics

Sevenoaks athletes had a very successful day at the 2019 Kent Schools’ Track and Field Championships with our students winning a number of medals:

  • Harriet Medlen – 100m, 2nd
  • James Davies – 400m, 1st
  • Fin Croll – 1500m, 2nd
  • Harriet Medlen – Long Jump, 2nd
  • Lucinda White – Javelin, 1st
  • Elspeth Watson – Discus, 3rd
  • Georgia Baker – Long Jump, 2nd
  • Meghan Watson – Steeple Chase, 1st
  • Georgia Baker – Hurdles, 1st
  • Sandy Milligan – 200m, 3rd

Football

James Davies is being awarded the Golden Boot for the U15 Central Division of the Kent Youth League for the 2018/19 season. There are 11 teams in this highly competitive division including Maidstone, Ashford and Ebsfleet, so this is an exceptional achievement.

Swimming

Congratulations to Demi Alli, who has been selected to take part in the Swim England South East Regional Pathway Programme.

Tennis

Well done to our U14 and 1st teams for winning versus Tonbridge in the quarter-finals of the Kent Cup.

Congratulations to Samuel De Mariveles on being selected to represent Kent LTA in the South East Team Trophy.
