Sevenoaks won the U15 Kent Sevens at Gravesend Grammar School this week.
In a tough pool, the team got better with every game and progressed through to the latter stages of the cup competition. They enjoyed a comprehensive victory in the quarter-finals against Chislehurst & Sidcup, winning 38.0, before securing a nail-biting semi-final in the last play of the game against Simon Langton.
Finally, they gave everything to the cause in the final with victory over a strong St Olave’s side, winning 17-12. They retained their cup champion status for a second successive year, having won the Kent Sevens in the U14 age group. This is testament to a hugely talented and determined group of players.
