The 44th Knole Run and 22nd Girls’ Knole Run took place on 13 January and was our most successful Knole Run ever.
The Sevenoaks girls’ A team won their race and the boys’ A team were third. Standout performances came from James Elgar who came ninth in the boys’ race and Carlotta Weitzel who came fifth in the girls’ race. Maddie Wise, Fin Croll, Alex Evans and Ollie Hill were some of the youngest runners in the race as Year 9s but managed to finish in sixth, 54th, 55th and 68th respectively, out of 230 runners (boys) and 98 runners (girls). This is a superb achievement, considering that they were running against athletes up to five years older than them.
