Of the 38 shortlisted pieces for this year’s Royal Academy Summer A-Level Exhibition Online, three are by Sevenoaks students Georgia Dochoda and Joachim Fjeldsoe (who has two pieces included). They have been selected from over 2000 submissions from UK schools.

Having your work chosen to appear in the Royal Academy A-level Summer Exhibition Online is a great achievement for young artists in the UK. It is the digital equivalent of the RA Summer Exhibition, for artists aged 16-18 studying Art at A-Level, IB or equivalent. The shortlisted pieces were selected by an expert panel: Andrea Tarsia (Head of RA Exhibitions), RA Schools student Maria de Lima, and artist Lisa Milroy.

Sevenoaks students were also successful in last year’s exhibition. American Hedonists by Olivia Storey was one of the 36 shortlisted works while Isabel Law and Rory Alexander’s pieces were among 70 commended entries.
