Her PhD research interest at King’s College London is the study of brain pathways and cognitive development that may underpin the emergence of symptoms, and emotional and behavioural problems in children with autism spectrum disorder.
As part of her work, Dr Carter Leno organised the concert Divergent Sounds with City of London Sinfonia, exploring through music the different ways neurodivergent people’s minds work and their experiences.
