We were delighted to welcome printmaker and painter Katherine Jones to Sevenoaks earlier this term for a short residency in the Art department.
During her visit, Katherine spent time developing a piece for the school and worked with the students. She gave a full day’s masterclass in printmaking to Year 10 pupils. The work they produced will be exhibited in Sevenoaks at the Kaleidoscope Gallery as part of the Printfest Festival from 23 May. Click here for further information about the festival.
Katherine’s work is held at the V&A prints and drawings collection, The V&A National Art library, Yale University Library, the House of Lords and in public collections worldwide. Her previous residencies have included Rabley Drawing Centre, Eton College and Winchester College.
