Aisher's 80 day challenge

We decided to create a project where everyone in our boarding house could participate in an ’80 days around the world’ challenge, to encourage physical exercise in the difficult times through the pandemic and also to raise money for charity.

The goal of the challenge was to collectively run, walk, cycle or swim certain distances in order to travel the distance around the globe (visiting all of the countries the people in our boarding house live in). Each student host blogged a ‘postcard’ of their home town on our route.

While doing this, we were raising money for West Kent Mind, one of the local Mind associations, among about 130 others which are part of the national charity Mind. West Kent Mind is the leading mental health charity in England and Wales.

Our grand total was £1185. Go Aisher!
