Sevenoaks has been recognised as ‘Best of the Best’ in the category ‘Great for the IB’ in The Week UK Independent Schools Guide. They also note our longstanding experience of the IB, having taught it since 1978.

The breadth of the Diploma Programme encourages an interdisciplinary style of learning. Students develop expert knowledge in the topics that most interest them but are also encouraged to look beyond the traditional boundaries between academic disciplines, think critically across the curriculum and to appreciate and analyse multiple perspectives.

We also like the IB’s emphasis on service, co-curricular activities and independent research. It is a hugely exciting programme which enriches the Sixth Form experience and brings many benefits for students as they look towards higher education and careers.
