Some 120 people braved the chilly evening air for the Australian Style Hog Roast on 6 June.  The Library lawn and Pagodas provided a very attractive setting, though guests appeared reluctabt to carry though the Australian Beach party theme in their choice of dress for the evening.

We all tucked in with relish to a truly magnificent buffet of tender roast pork, salads and hot potatoes before finally reparing to the dining room for dessert and coffee.  With feeling restored once more to toes and fingers, the evening continued in a very relaxed and convivial mood.
