Four students were entered for the UK Mathematical Olympiad for Girls this year. They all scored above the mean and earned a Certificate of Distinction.

Sophie McInerney and Lucy Goodfellow qualified for the first round of the British Mathematical Olympiad, which will be held in December. Sophie McInerney also achieved full marks, one of only 11 students nationally to do so, and received a book prize.

Over 1700 girls nationwide entered the competition and the top 25% were awarded a Distinction.

Well done to all four who participated: Sophie McInerney, Lucy Goodfellow, Jahnvi Gada and Noemie Voss.
